HalcyonVR
Overview
HalcyonVR is a collaborative Unreal Engine 5 project recreating the Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser experience in VR, using publicly available documentation. I worked on this as part of my internship with Agile Lens, where I led the early phase of environment development. This included collecting references, greyboxing rooms and structures, and preparing them for handoff to the modeling team. Once modeling was complete, I took charge of lighting those spaces and refining structural elements within the engine.

Process
- Unreal Engine 5 for greyboxing and lighting
- Rebuilt rooms based on existing architectural references and documentation
- Collected and organized source materials to guide the modeling pipeline
- Designed lighting passes to support atmosphere, readability, and VR performance
- Oversaw structural setup and adjustments across several environments
- Explored Convai for integrating AI-driven voice and avatar interaction into UE5 workflows
- Collaborated across a distributed team using GitHub and Notion for versioning and task management
Installation
Designed as an explorable VR and flatscreen experience. The environments are structured for clarity, immersion, and preservation. Creating an architectural record into a world you can walk through.
